In ther service to the Filipino Community in the UAE, FIL-HR will once again hold a job fair and this time, it will be in Abu Dhabi...

FILHR Job Fair Abu Dhabi

In the service to the Expat Community in the UAE, FIL-HR will conduct once more a national Job Fair on April 26, 2013 and this time, it will be held in Abu Dhabi.

This job fair is expected to draw about nearly 1,500 job seekers all over the UAE from different nationalities at different levels and, to be participated by more than 20 organizations which will compose of government, private, multinational and local companies.

Candidates attending the job fair may bring as many CV's as they would like to and submit them to employers that have vacancies matching their profile.  Some employers might conduct an on-the-spot interview especially if the qualifications and background of the candidates are matching a specific requirement and best part is, they might end up getting a new job on the same day which is not impossible to happen.

A number of FREE seminars are to be conducted by invited Subject Matter Experts from various industries on every hour, all throughout the day, delivering talks on CV writing, interviewing techniques, power-dressing, UAE labour law, On-line Job Searching, UAE labour law, financial literacy and among others.

Reminders to job seekers:

  • there will only be one entrance to be used to enter the job fair area
  • all canddiates will need to enter through the side of the hotel, at Second Cup Coffee Shop entrance
  • at the entrance, candidate will be given a sticker which will servce as access to the job fair and training area
  • NO sticker. NO entrance to the job fair and training
  • candidates are encouraged to apply ONLY to vacancies that are matchig their profile 
  • after exiting the job fair, all candidates are invited to attend the FREE trainings
  • access to the training area will be through the stairs, which you can find immediately after exiting the job fair area
  • candidates are only allowed to attend a maximum of 2 trainings
  • try to come as early as possible and dress in business attire
  • registration for the training can only be made on the day itself; it is first come first serve and there are limited seats only.
  • the initial list of jobs is posted below
  • the job fair venue is at Grand Millenium Hotel Al Wadha which is next to Main Abu Dhabi Bus Terminal and adjacent to Al Wadha Mall

Reminders to companies intending to participate:

  • you may only send a maximum of 2 representatives to man your table
  • one member of FILHR will be assigned to your company to help you all throughout the fair
  • you may bring one roll up banner of your company  and display it only on designated area
  • employers are requested to submit the list of their vacancies a week before the event so it can be posted on our website
